Re: Old Man Logan

I think they could perfectly return to this alternative future . There are lots of stories there that can be told .

Re: Old Man Logan

I think the premise was strong. What fight would you like to have seen the most?

The Daredevil fight probably was too one-sided. And unfortunately the same is probably said for poor Spidey. But man, that Thor battle sounded crazy. Millar and his details never fail to impress; a Mjinior that hasn't been moved in 50 years. Just amazing.

www.theartistschoice.com the website has McNiven's original artwork for sale. I got the page from 67 where Hawkeye kills the Ghost Riders but I tried to get that one page of just Mjinior also...was bitter that someone beat me to it!

Re: Old Man Logan

About $225. The guy running the site--Spencer Beck--very easy to work with. Unfortunately, once I picked that page up, it just opened the flood gates. I've bought pages from Darick Robertson (eBay), John Cassaday and Travis Hairshire (I could find you the links if you're interested), just gave David Mack a down payment for the last page of art I'm ever going to buy. It's really really addictive, I can't tell you why!

Other than the obvious...my kid ever comes home with a nose ring, I'm going to make 100 photocopies of the reverse lobotomy, buy myself a compact bow, and screw with him. lol

I envy you. I would kill for a piece of Cassaday art.
I totally understand the addiction, but I'm like one of those burned out junkies, I have no money left so I have to make do in whichever way I can...

It was very good. I still think they could have charged 3.99 for it instead of 4.99, it wasn't necessary to include all the series covers , for example. But I absolutely loved to see McNiven's sketches. That guy is so talented, it's amazing. I draw a little every now and then but whenever I see real artists I'm just in awe ...

Same here. But you already know my stance on the price. The McNiven sketches are really helpful, since I do a bit of drawing. It's really helped me get a better facial structure.

And you said "whenever I see the real artists, I'm just in awe", did you mean to say that the original pencils give you the awe, or did you mean the actual artist?

Re: Old Man Logan

I just meant I don't consider myself a real artist. But I guess since I've started drawing again I admire other people's work more than ever. And I absolutely love McNiven's art, whether it is just pencils or fully inked or colored ...
