I interpreted as him wanting to do things his own way after Jigsaw was dead and with her around that wouldn't be possible. He set her up to fail in Jigsaw's eyes but it just ended up that she got caught up in that crossfire so it worked out for him. It seemed like he never had any intention of stopping. He enjoys it.

I finally saw SAW VI last night and it was probably my least favorite. I know I'm all about moving on beyond John, but I just find Hoffman incredibly boring, though maybe that will change after his own test.

Plus I was rooting for the insurance guy to survive and that made me feel weird.

The first one had a kind of seedy, independent feel to it.

Everything's gone downhill since.
