I e-mailed my kids book publisher about this today. Mentioning translations and a Japanese translation in particular.

It'll be great see your work translated...think it could be well appreciated in every language. Its a great idea.
Also fun reading about Akemi #1.....must be a real mind blowing thing for her to think her name-sake became so pivotal in your continued work! But great that even although its been a while she kept up with your work.
